About Benin
- West Africa (between Togo & Nigeria)
- Population: ~13 million
- Over 40 ethnic groups & 50+ languages
- Major religions:
- Islam
- Catholicism
- Voodoo (deep cultural influence)
Many people groups are still unreached
Spiritual Need
- Large populations have little or no access to the gospel
- Strong influence of:
- Voodoo / animism
- Islamic traditions
- Social cost for conversion is very high
Ministry Focus
- Church planting
- Bible teaching & discipleship
- Training local leaders
- Youth & small group ministry
- Children’s outreach
- Deaf ministry (sign language access)
Goal: Self-sustaining, indigenous churches
Mission Team
They will serve alongside missionaries in:
- Bible training school
- Medical outreach
- Agriculture-based ministry
- Church development
